Aer [Artist Introduction]

Massachusetts grown band, Aer, just released their second full length album, ‘The Bright Side’ at the perfect time. With the hottest month of summer just starting, these beach tunes are the perfect addition to any day off. The talented duo of Aer truly show their range on this LP with elements of alternative rock, reggae, ska, and hip/hop all mixed together within this song. The two are able to go from great alternative rock vocals to a semi singing pseudo rap in the vein of Sublime or Beck. This album most reminds me of Sublime specifically, with the soft accoustic chill semi-spoken semi-sung vocals over the summer type ska beats fans of the famous 90′s band will not be disappointed here. The album lives up to its name, with plenty of cheerful chill summer tunes to enjoy a day at the beach with. Check out my two favorites so far from the album below and give the band a listen.
