Arlissa vs. NAS – Hard to Love Somebody

Arlissa and NAS
Allow me to introduce to you, Arlissa, a 19-year-old German/American singer signed to London Records. Though the chorus is a bit too refined for my tastes, you can’t deny the vocal strength of young Arlissa, which becomes more impressive when you consider that it’s her first track. The collaboration with NAS takes the song from average to very good, as his flow and hardcore style contrast with her polished vocals giving the song a similar model to the Dido/Eminem track “Stan”. Arlissa’s debut album is out September 30th, and I’m very interested to see what other goodies she has to offer.
