Caravan Palace, the worlds most famous electroswing band is at it again, with the release of their sophomore album ‘Panic.’ The band hilariously first met when hired to make the soundtrack to a ‘silent porno.’ Labeled as the ‘best music genre you’ve probably never heard of’ by many, I won’t use the same condescending language. You probably know the deal by now, Caravan Palace is part of the recent swing revival, mixing elements of old jazz, pop, and newer electrical attributes to create a crazy niche sound, that’s definitely not for everyone. I urge you to give the genre and this album a listen, but I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not for everyone; however, regardless of your position on the music, you can’t pass up this music video. Caravan Palace collaborated with director Guillaume Cassuto and animators Jeremy Pires and Ugo Gattoni to make this artzy short film.
