My good friend GuillermoA over at got a chance to see the LIVELOVEA$AP tour and check out the up-and-comer, Danny Brown. Read what GuillermoA thought of the performance below:
Danny Brown had a high energy performance at The House of Blues Boston alongside Schoolboy Q and ASAP Rocky last month during the LIVELOVEA$AP Boston stop. Even though Danny Brown has been plagued for sometimes coming on stage and no one really knowing who he was, this tour has proved he has made a commercial name for himself. Last time he was in Boston, Danny Brown took the stage at a private show in The Good Life Bar, a miniscule venue in comparison to the House of Blues. This time around, there were hundreds in the crowd as Danny performed hits like “Grown Up” and “Blunt After Blunt” during his set and fans in the building were going back and forth with him word for word. The venue was not completely full by the end of Danny Brown’s performance but he brought the energy and it was well contained within the three levels and four walls of House of Blues Boston. He also came back out during A$AP Rocky’s set and you could tell the two hip-hop superstars have created a strong bond throughout this tour as A$AP brought him back out during his set to perform another track for his fans. They embraced each other with a dap and a hug and looked out on the crowd with blaring smiles, probably thinking “Just another day in the office.” Overall, a great performance by Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q and A$AP Mob.
