G-Eazy – Mad (feat. Devon Baldwin)

Pastaboy6000 already introduced you guys (and myself as well) to the hip-hop stylings of G-Eazy. After the huge success of his ‘Endless Summer’ mixtape, G-Eazy has been touring the country with Schoolboy Q and other up and coming rappers, but he’s still had time to make some jams. He’s definitely got his own style; not trying to emulate the success of current rappers, G-Eazy often samples songs from the 50′s or 60′s creating a James Dean meets modern hip-hop vibe. In his latest release, ‘Mad,’ he dips back into his retro roots again, and American Idol contestant, Devon Baldwin, provides some amazing chorus vocals to accompany G-Eazy’s chill flow. As a bonus also check out ‘Marilyn’ below, another song recently released by G-Eazy. This song is a super-chill hip-hop ballad. Again, he calls on another beautiful young indie voice to provide the hooks and vocals, in Dominique Lejeune. Check out both songs below and cop yourself some free downloads.
