One of my recent favorite rappers, G-Eazy, just released his first official LP ‘Must Be Nice’ the last week of September. G-Eazy is a unique rapper, often sampling 50′s or 60′s tunes and channeling his inner Dean Martin but still managing to have the swag necessary for a modern day rapper. His most recent release shows a lot of growth from his hit mixtape ‘Endless Summer’ released last year. The production and flow are noticeably better, and Eazy showed some range by not only displaying his perfectly laid back rapping style, but also mixing in some dope, hard-hitting verses. The album is pretty short with only nine songs, but at least half, if not more, are instant hits. Check out my two favorites below and give the album a try.
