A few weeks back Indie-rock band Hurricane Bells released the ‘Bodega Strings EP.’ A 5 song EP of different DJ remixes of songs off their Tides and Tales LP. One song that stood out among the five was David Lee Rad’s remix of ‘I’ve Got a Second Chance.’ The original is an emotional feel good ballad of sorts, which truly emphasizes all the talent of Hurricane Bells, and the remix fits this perfectly. David Lee Rad doesn’t force his beats onto the song, but lets it naturally progress from a soothing tempo into something harder as the emotions of the song build.
