Ivan & Alyosha, are yet another great band that I must thank the folks at NPR Music for turning me on to. Based out of Seattle, their sound is nothing similar to other Seattle legends Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Sir Mix-A-Lot. Rather they deliver a catchy folk-pop, rock sound that’s extremely pleasant and catchy. Though started as a 2-piece group in 2007, they’ve since expanded to 5 members giving them the ability to create some beautiful harmonies. “Be Your Man” is a track off their upcoming album available for your listening pleasure below.
