Jeremy Fisher – Built to Last [Artist Introduction]

Album cover for Mint Juleps
Jeremy Fisher is a Canadian singer-songwriter on the rise. His latest album “Mint Juleps” was released early this month is a collection of 12, folktastic songs. When I first heard the beginning of “Built to Last”, I thought I was mistakenly listening to another Canadian singer-songwrite, City & Colour, but then the banjo came in. Giving us a simple folk sound, Fisher has a more traditional sound than a lot of the folk-revival artists of late. Fast-paced, lighthearted lyrics give the song a country music feel, and excellent banjo playing keep me hooked throughout. Check the song out for yourself below, and enjoy a free download courtesy of Planetary Group!
