Slow Club – Beginners

Originally touted as ‘the next The White Stripes’ during their 2006 forming, Slow Club found their home in the folk genre. With a more vibrant and less chaotic sound than anything Jack and Meg put out, the European duo mixes elements of folk, twee, and 60′s pop into a classically beautiful sound. With two albums under their belt, if you haven’t heard of these guys yet, you’re doing yourself a great disservice. In anticipation of their next release the band recently released the single ‘Beginners.’ This single features everything to love about Slow Club, the slowly crashing drum beat, emphasizing the pure beauty of Rebecca Taylor’s voice through the chorus of echo’s, the video even features Daniel Radcliffe! Check out the song below and listen to more by Slow Club today.
