Relatively unknown English rock band, The Milk, just released a hit last week. Channeling their inner Maroon 5, the foursome changed up their post-rock, shoegaze sound, and added in a little alternative rock-styled R&B with the release of Picking up the Pieces. Featuring the actor, and apparently now turned actor, Idris Elba. You might recognize Idris as Charles Minor from The Office, or maybe as the Gatekeeper in last years blockbuster Thor, or from one of his bagillion other projects. He’s got acting chops for sure, and in this song showed some rhythm as well. The whole song flowed great and the music video showed the guys having a blast making it.
